My childhood bedroom had lavender wallpaper with old-timey phones all over it. I picked it out myself. I just remember liking it, and now I like to remember it.
I remember the purple bedroom (purple shag carpeting!!), but not the telephones on the wallpaper. Your artist eye obviously noticed what I simply remember as PURPLE!
