EDM 11 - Glasses

Another all-pen drawing. This was done with five colors. I hardly own more colored pens than that. With pen, it's a little nerve racking knowing you can't pick the color up once it's down. It's a good exercise. AND, hand-drawing THREE similar-looking S's in ONE word. Oh my! I have a thing for blue glass canning jars, so I couldn't resist the double "glasses" reference.

EDM 10 - My Hand

Something inside my head said, "Stop painting!" I'm glad I listened...for once.

EDM 9 - A Bit of Organized Chaos in My Home

A few square inches of the mess in my kitchen utensil drawer.

EDM 8 - Jewelry

I wear this silver ring and bracelet everyday. They're favorites. This is my second pen-only sketch today. Just didn't feel like getting the brush wet today. Maybe tomorrow.

EDM 7 - A Jar from the Kitchen

We sort our loose change into antique jars on a shelf in the kitchen. This is the nickel jar. It's a miniature milk bottle. I haven't done an all-pen drawing in a while. I used to be so comfortable with the medium. I'm out of practice.

EDM 6 - A Favorite Well-loved Object

This fun little teapot was a going-away gift from a couple of my young piano students years ago when we moved across the country. Somehow they knew I would love it in all its unusualness.

EDM 1-4 - First Row

Here's what four drawings in a row look like. Kind of interesting....
